Part 1. Within your own words describe to Me what the following means to you ~ Also should training be measured by silks
levels ~
White Silks ~ a slave that is fresh and unopened, a virgin or restricted from sexual use
Yellow Silks ~ traditionally the color of silks designated for slaves that serve in a Paga Tavern,
however any slave may wear any color of silks as desired by her Owner
Red Silks ~ not a virgin
Should training be measured by silk levels ~ as a slave that has moved many times and has seen many slaves come and go,
this girl has always thought that training based on job/usage might be better and more specific to slaves as they are sold
from place to place. For instance a raw girl may have been taught basic rules and positions of being a slave.
A work slave will know more about chores, gardening and tending animals. A kitchen slave having more experience and
time learning to cook and prepare meals while serving drinks. A house slave knowing all these items as well as how to
please a Master in the furs and out, she would understand the many different ways to please as well as how to run a house
smoothly. Pleasure slaves are usually taught by a training house and certified making their price a bit higher though
always subject to demand. These slaves will almost always know how to dance even if not specifically trained in dance
itself. Being turned a white silk/red silk depending on knowledge is harder as one may have been a FG before being
sold then having to start again at the bottom (white silk level) whereas instead she could be tested specifically in areas
as to determine the extent of her training. This saving valuable time and the Owners money (the old saying of "not reinventing
the wheel").
Part 2 Fill in the "______" with the color of silks within the following quotes ~
1. Similarly, the expression “"red" silk,” in Gorean, tends to be used as a category
in slaving, and also, outside the slaving context, as an expression in vulgar discourse, indicating that the woman is no longer
a virgin, or, as the Goreans say, at least vulgarly of slaves, that her body has been opened by men. Its contrasting term
is “"white" silk,” usually used of slaves who are still virgins, or, equivalently,
slaves whose bodies have not yet been opened by men. Needless to say, slaves seldom spend a great deal of time in the “"white"-silk” category. It is common not to dally in initiating a slave into the realities of her
condition. Blood Brothers of Gor Book 18
2. “Let Lana serve Relius wine,” said another girl, a "red" Silk Girl, first to
the guard, leaning toward him, lips parted. Relius put out his cup but before the girl could pour the wine she seemed suddenly
to fly off the back of the dais, the seat of her tunic firmly grasped in the small hand of Virginia Kent. Lana landed with
a considerable bump on the stones of the hall, the wine flying backward. “Relius guards Virginia,” the young slave
girl from Earth informed collared, "red" Silk Lana. Lana scrambled to her feet, angry, her pitcher
of wine set aside on the wet, red stones. The two girls stood facing one another. “I wear the leash of Relius,”
said Virginia. “I wear his bracelets!” Lana looked at Relius. “Leash Lana,” she said. “Lana
is "Red" Silk.” She extended her wrists provocatively to Relius. “Put your bracelets
on Lana. She is "Red" Silk. She will serve you better than a silly little "White"
Silker.”
3. At this point Virginia Kent put down her pitcher of wine, seized Lana by the shoulder, spun her about and struck her
a rather severe blow near the left eye. Several of the men and girls at and about the tables approvingly observed the two
girls rolling and scratching, biting and tearing on the floor, first "White" Silk on top, and then
"Red" Silk, and then "White" Silk again. At last Virginia Kent, to the
cheers of several of those present, sat atop Lana and was pummeling her mercilessly, until Lana, throwing up her arms and
shrieking, crying out, begged for mercy. Assassin of Gor Book 5
4. Then with a suddenness that almost made me jump and the crowd cry out with delight the music began again but this time
as a barbaric cry of rebellion and rage and the wench from Port Kar was suddenly a chained she-larl biting and tearing at
the chain and she had cast her black robes from her and stood savage revealed in diaphanous, swirling "Yellow"
Pleasure Silk. Nomads of Gor Book 4
5. “You were "White" silk,” I said. “Now you are "red"
silk.”
“To be sure,” I said, “‘white’ in the context of ‘white-silk girl’ tends less to suggest purity and innocence to the Gorean than ignorance and naivety,
and a lack of experience. 'Red,’ in the context of ‘Red-silk
girl,’ on the other hand, connotes rather clearly, I think, experience. One expects a "Red-silk
girl, for example, not only to be able to find her way about the furs, but; subject to the whip, owned and dominated, perhaps
chained, to prove herself a sensuous treasure within them.” “I am red-silk,”
she said. “Have me.” Savages of Gor Book 17
6. “Paga, Master?” asked a girl, kneeling beside the low table, behind which I sat, cross-legged. I regarded
her. She was well made up, with lipstick, eye shadow, and such, a painted slave, as it is said. There was a pearl droplet
on a tiny golden chain, on her forehead. She was clad in a snatch of "yellow" slave silk. She was
necklaced, as well as collared. Her left arm was encircled with a serpentine ornament. Her wrists were heavy with bracelets.
Two of these, one on each wrist, were locked there. On them were snap rings. They could thus be joined, and she could not
free herself from them. Her left ankle was belled, these bells being attached to a locked anklet. Vagabonds of Gor Book 24
7. She came through the kitchen door, in the tiny slip of diaphanous "yellow" silk allotted
to paga slaves, bells locked on her left ankle. She was doubtless returning to the floor after her rest, to freshen her for
further service. I had not seen her before. She carried a vessel of paga. She was barefoot on the tiles. Hunters of Gor Book

8. “I hope she is "red" silk,” said the other. “If she is not when we apprehend
her,” said the other, “by the time we turn her over to Haakon she will be of the reddest of silks.” “Haakon
might not be pleased,” said the other. The first laughed. “Haakon does not know which girl is "red"
silk and which is "white" silk.” “That is true,” grinned the other. “Besides,”
pointed out the first, “do you really think Haakon expects us to return "white" silk girls
to his chain?” Captive of Gor Book 7
